Live and Let Loda !

Once again I sit down in my chair to think about the past month. A lot has happened since then, and joining up with my DotA 2 team, rD.Gaming was just a part of it. We needed help to focus on practicing, but once we had the support we needed, practice just didn't work out at all. It actually went worse for a couple of weeks. It reached a peak about a week ago, and resulted in a big and serious team talk (Which is needed often!). The reason to this isn't mainly our poor results in our games, but mostly because people just didn't feel at ease with the team. The movement on the map was crappy, the carry too weak and the solo mid not that effective. We all had different reasoning to why our game-plan and execution just wasn't up to par. But we could all agree on that the movement just wasn't doing it for us. This was imo only due to poor communication. I mean we do talk, but not about the right stuff. And after digging deeper into the problem it could be that me and Hawksss (our semi-carry player) took too much space in the games. We talked when we kinda shouldn't, but this was due to it being too quiet on Skype.

So we tried practicing in different ways to address the problem, and then hopefully solve it. The most effective was to just make me and Hawksss mute our microphones. This way the rest doesn't have to feel intimidated by the goodlikeness of me! And also made them take more responsibility when it comes to the game than before. We tried scrimming like this for a couple of games, and it improved our play somewhat, but most of all it got each and everyone of us to THINK more during the game.

So even if this helped us out a bit, we still have so very far to go. We are looking to become the best of the best, we don't want to be one of those teams that beats everyone but not Orange e-sports. I said so from start, and I will probably say it again. We will get there, my ego is faaaaar to big to handle anything but success in the end.

On another note I've been struck by cupid lately, and have been enjoying the bizarre mix of hormones taking control of my body. It may sound lame, but I actually didn't believe in love until this, but more of that on another time, if you'd like to hear. ;)

Shoutout to Cheryl, Hawksss, Vynx and NoMercy.
Shoutout to all DotA 2 players.
